Not Creative Enough or At All

Because lately I have no creative thoughts in my mind (like I'm creative at all), I haven't wrote anything poetic in here. But yesterday, I watched a movie called "Stuck in Love" which my friend bought for me, which starring Lily Collins, Greg Kinnear, Nat Wolff, and Jennifer Connelly as the main characters, and it was about a divorced-writer-man who can't move on from his ex-wife and have two children to look out.

His daughter, Sam(Lily), hates her mother so much because she caught her mom having an affair with other man. During that affair, the man asked her mom what if her husband knows about them, her mom replied "I don't care," and that's why Sam hates her so much.

And his son, Rusty(Nat), is a teenager without any wild experiences during his teenage life.

And what I'm trying to say here is not to tell you the summary of the whole film. What I want to share with you is about a poem that Rusty made for his holiday assignment. At school, his teacher asked him to read it to the class, and this is the best part. To me, that poem Rusty made is so beautiful that I could cry to that.

"This poem is called 'School'," Rusty said.

"In the sea of desks,
There's talk of games,
And bags and long pipes,
That leak dreams,
With strikes of a match.
And there's a loudness
To the whispers I hear.
Whispers shouldn't be that loud,
Should they?
There's a girl over there
Who everyone knows
And men without ears,
Who will stand by the door,
For a price.
In long hallways,
There are angry mobs
Of dwarfs and rats
And one single angel."
Finished with his sentence, he looked up to see Kate, and he saw Kate watching him as he read his poem.

Ah God, that was beautiful. So beautiful.
